Simon has over 20 years experience  in the construction industry, he started out as an apprentice craftmason at 17 where he laid the foundations of his knowledge base for 6 years, before becoming a management trainee for a commercial construction company. He was sponsored through university where he achieved a First Class honours degree in Construction Management BSc(Hons). He was awarded the Federation of Master Builders trophy for performance on a construction management degree, not that he would ever offer up this nugget of information willingly! He worked his way through to Senior Site Manager, gaining a wealth of knowledge across the board on both commercial and residential projects. Kingsmoor Construction was born from Simon’s passion to push the boundaries on building methods and unique architecture, producing homes that people genuinely love to live in. 

In his spare time, Simon spends time with his young family who keep him busy with camping trips in Cornwall, surfing, bike rides and coastal walks, as well as coaching his youngest son’s local rugby team. If there’s any spare time after all of that, golf and skiing are his choice of sports that he gets to indulge in on occasion!
